Roof Leak Berwick
The owners of this 4 year old house were experiencing a large amount of water coming from 2 light fittings in the first floor bedroom ceiling during heavy rain. Inspection and testing determined colorbond roof section on the ridge has a blockage.
The turned flashing surrounding the low side of the roof sheets for this structure, is touching the lead flashing on one corner, preventing this section to drain. During heavy rain, the roof sheet fills to quickly and back flows inside the roof space.
